Paros Island is in the Cycledes region of Greece. Even though the island has many visitors year after year it still manages to keep its traditional Greek atmosphere with its small fishing villages and historical architecture.

Enjoy the golden beaches and swim in the blue seas during the summer months. Also explore the picturesque mountain villages, the Coastal Fishing Harbours, the Castles, Cathedrals, Churches, the famous Marble Quarry and the Valley of the Butterflies.

For more information see our flights section.  Ferries are available to many destinations such as Amorgos, Astypalea, Crete, Folegandros, Ikaria, Ios, Kos, Koufonisi, Pirieas, Mykonos, Naxos,  Rafina, Rhodes, Samos, Syros, Santorini, Sikinos, Syros and Tinos. For more information see our ferries section . There is a bus service available to most various areas of Paros Island as well as a Taxi service.

Parakoikia - is the islands capital, its full of cafe's, restaurants, bars, shops and discos. However among this busy town there is some historical character. Whitewashed houses, archways and windmills lead you to the resorted cathedral Ekatontachoni and the Archaeological Museum. In this area you will also find a 13th century Venetian castle and many picturesque churches as well as many inviting cafe's with outdoor terrace seating and shops selling local art and home produced goods.

Naoussa - is considered to be one of the most beautiful fishing villages with a  natural harbor. However due to this it is also very busy with many visitors enjoying the scenic village, golden beaches and open air street cafes, restaurants and taverns. Being a Fishing Village most of the local taverns serve freshly caught fish. 

Logoras - is a small village with a lovely stretch of golden beach. Over the past few years the area has become popular to visitors. However its not yet overdeveloped and still offers a more peaceful holiday.

Lefkes - is an attractive and un spoilt village in the Paros hills with marble paved streets and white houses.

Antiparos - take a ferry to Antiparos Island which is an small undeveloped island with most of its population living in the main town. Antiparos town offers a few waterfront cafes, bars and restaurants as to the south of the Island you can explore the Stalactite Caves and their history!

Paros Island Weather (Same as neighboring island Naxos)

During the warmer months of June, July, August and September the daily temperatures normally reach an average top of 26ºC, (79ºF). May and October are a little cooler with the average high temperature of 22ºC (71ºF). January is normally the coldest month with an average high temperature of 14ºC (58ºF) and average low temperature of 9ºC (49ºF).
